[ Perhaps one day, when all this isn’t so new and impressions still need to be made, Nanami will simply roll his eyes at Charlie’s teasing. For now, he finds the way the other man flusters to be endearing to no end.

Charlie settles into Nanami’s lap like he belongs there, slotting easily against the other man, warm in his embrace. He’s at a bit of an angle, feet propped on the coffee table, so he can lean back and look at Nanami above him. One of his hands comes up to slide into Nanami’s hair. ]

Mm. Pretty sure that’s my line, actually.

[ And here they go. ]

[ They're definitely going to get there, Nanami can't be embarrassed forever. Though, he definitely doesn't mind how Charlie likes it when he gets flustered though because that's nice too. He is outrageously indulgent when it comes to Charlie.

In fact, if it was anyone else, he might have some objections to his hair being mussed with so. It'll fall out of its part and into his face like that but Nanami doesn't mind it at all. He just holds the other man to his chest and presses his lips to his forehead, closing his eyes and breathing him in. ]

Is it? Then what should I call you if not perfect? Breathtaking? Exquisite?

[ Here they go indeed. ]

[ Nanami is of course welcome to re-tame his hair before he goes, but it's Charlies hope that he won't be leaving until, like, sometime tomorrow at the very least. He twirls one blond lock around his finger, smiling with such unbearable fondness that he feels like he might drown in it. ]

Yours.

[ The reply is instant, but so sincere. ]

Call me yours. That's all I want to be.

[ How is he supposed to respond to that in any other way but to kiss Charlie? The reply catches him off guard for a moment, making his heart do flips in his chest and he just feels so... lucky, for a moment, to be here and to be with Charlie. So, he leans in, capturing his mouth in a kiss and sliding one of his hands against his neck, thumb resting just behind his ear so he can kiss him, deep and warm.

Against his mouth, he'll breathe out, a touch possessively — ]

You are mine.

[ Before he dives right back into that kiss and pours his emotions into it. ]

[ Maybe Charlie said that with the aim of being kissed– no, he didn’t, and it’s not like he needs an excuse to kiss the man he’s quietly been referring to as his boyfriend for a while now, but like hell is he going to turn him down now. The way Nanami reacts so suddenly makes warmth wash over him, and he leans into that kiss with eagerness.

And then– Oh. God. Nanami should know by now that little possessive streak of his does things to Charlie, and that warmth spikes briefly into heat when their lips meet again.

There’s a lot happening here, a lot of feelings going into their kiss from both ends, but Charlie won’t take this moment anywhere Nanami doesn’t want it to go. Still, damn if he’s not totally head over heels for this man. Damn if Charlie doesn’t kiss him like he’s the only thing in the wide, wide multiverse that matters. ]

[ He'll never get bored of kissing Charlie, Nanami is sure of this. The way their lips move together, the slow slide of tongue against each other, the warmth of Charlie's body against him and the quiet moan Nanami presses into the kiss as they continue. It's all building a low heat in him that makes him feel wonderful, like he can't get enough.

It's enough to make him forget his problems for a while, the stress he's been carrying since Gojo left to return to their world, since he realized what would happen to him and why Yuji is so very hurt. He can just be in this moment, just kiss Charlie and only care about this little bubble that they're in where nothing else matters.

He'll break away when the need for air surmounts the need to keep kissing but he doesn't pull back. He just presses kisses across Charlie's jaw, nuzzling against his cheek, and nipping lightly at his earlobe. His voice is low and heated as he murmurs against Charlie, while his lips trail down to his throat, nipping lightly at the skin there as well. ]

I'm sorely tempted to mark you up just to make it clear how much you belong to me.

[ Hope Charlie is ready for his throat to be mauled. ]

[ There are certainly more ways than one to forget one’s problems, and if Nanami needs a moment (or several) to just be, to find something warm and joyous and revel in it, then Charlie is more than happy to help with that. Not that he doesn’t benefit either, though, because kissing Nanami is always great.

At some point during their kiss, Charlie shifts himself around in Nanami’s lap to better press closer, his knees on either side of the other man’s hips, their bodies pressed flush. When Nanami breaks away to explore elsewhere, mouthing at his throat, Charlie tips his head back to let him with a soft gasp. ]

Afraid someone’s gonna try and steal me away?

[ That’s not a no. Maul away. ]

[ He does. He didn't think he needed that moment before he got here but the change from how dire things felt with Yuji to something a little more lighthearted and romantic with Charlie, it's welcomed. His problems feel in the rear view now as he flirts with Charlie, as he holds him close and feels warm with their affection for one another.

His hands are going to drop down to Charlie's waist, holding him around it and dragging him in closer while he presses kisses, open-mouthed and hungry against Charlie's throat. There's a low laugh that spills from Nanami at Charlie's words and he nuzzles against him with a hum. ]

And if I said yes? I haven't felt this way about anyone in quite a long time, can you blame me for not wanting to give you up?

[ He's not that insecure, at least. Still, any excuse to call Charlie his and mark him up in turn is one Nanami will take. He likes it, likes the closeness it brings, the sentiment he feels. He hasn't felt this at ease with someone since he was a teenager. ]

[ He could never tire of Nanami’s mouth on him, open and hungry and claiming. It sends heat bolting down his spine, but as ever, there’s an undercurrent of just… warmth there too. Something so soft and gentle and fond.

His hands, having somehow come to rest on Nanami’s shoulders in all the shifting around, tighten their grip, fingers curling against hard muscle as a thrill runs through him. ]

Guess I’m wearing a scarf tomorrow, huh?

[ It’ll be a fashion statement for sure, but certainly not one he has any objections to. ]

Or… maybe we can just stay in, instead.

[ The warmth is what makes Nanami's kisses less aggressive and more just soft and claiming. He presses kisses up along Charlie's throat, across his jaw and lingers against his mouth as he replies to him. ]

Staying in... sounds good to me.

[ More time with Charlie. More time with Charlie alone. It's all very good to Nanami and so he's going to kiss Charlie, long and lingering. For all his threat of mauling Charlie, he's still being very gentle in his touches and kisses. He just likes the man too much, he wants to do everything with him but more than that he wants to be tender with him.

Nanami doesn't get a lot of tenderness in his life. Back home, things are... brutal, his work is hard, he spends more days covered in blood than not. Ever since coming to the hotel, life has given him gentleness than he didn't think was something he could have. In the form of friendships. In the form of romance. He can carry a lot for Yuji and Megumi but he still has his own needs and he's allowing himself to chase after them for once.

Which is why when the kiss breaks and Nanami is just nuzzling against Charlie, his hands move to hold Charlie more securely around the thighs and waist. Then in one swift movement, and a showcase of Nanami's strength, he gets up from the couch and lifts Charlie as he does so, keeping hold on him securely. ]

Let's move this somewhere else.

[ Yes, indeed, he is moving them to the bedroom. ]

[ It is sort of the norm that when they get together, neither of them goes anywhere for a while. They don’t always tumble into bed; there have been plenty of late nights reading until they’ve fallen asleep on the couch, evenings where they simply chat until the sun comes up. It’s far easier to just stay together instead of one of them making the trek back to their room at that point.

Tonight, though, they are definitely tumbling into bed together. Charlie grins and claims Nanami’s lips one more time before he slips out of his lap. Catching him by the wrist, they head for the bedroom — though it’s frankly something of a miracle if they get there without stopping to kiss each other breathless first.

From there, it’s so, so easy to get lost in one another. To shed layers of clothes and distress both until there’s just the two of them tangled together in the sheets. When it’s over, and the both of them are quite sated (and Charlie has presumably magicked in a towel or something to take care of any mess), Charlie half drapes himself over Nanami, head resting on his chest, the tattoo of his heartbeat in his ear. He heaves a contented sigh. ]

I could really get used to this. Being yours.
