No, it’s fine. I just… [ he heaves a sigh as he takes a bag of popcorn down from the cabinet. He stares at the counter top for a few seconds before turning to Kasumi with a resigned sort of smile. ]

I didn’t want to complicate our little arrangement by getting attached, but I’m afraid I’m way past that point.

[ That gives her pause, and after that, she glances around the room quickly before she takes off her hood; because she wants Charlie to see the sympathetic look on her face as she walks over and places a hand over his shoulder. It softens into a reassuring smile soon enough. ]

I haven't said anything. Not sure how that would go over, you know?

[ Have a hug, for a moment, and when she pulls away, she moves over to grab the bag of popcorn and takes it upon herself to get it going in the microwave. ]

Well, we sort of... accidentally arranged a date? We haven't gone yet, though.

[ She claps her hands together softly and grins, the sounds of popcorn popping in the microwave going in the background. ]
